Stealth game fans will get something new from Warren Spector this year

Warren Spector's Thick as Thieves, originally pitched as a PvPvE stealth-action multiplayer game, has shifted to a solo and cooperative play model. The developer, OtherSide Entertainment, revealed this change during development, emphasizing that solo and co-op gameplay brought more enjoyment. The game now centers on two-player co-op and single-player experiences, with an emphasis on dynamic stealth gameplay. The studio aims to showcase Thick as Thieves at the Triple-i Initiative next week, alongside titles like Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and Windrose. The game is set in a 1910s metropolis with magic and intrigue, aiming to stand out in a crowded PvPvE market dominated by games like Arc Raiders, Marathon, and Escape from Tarkov. Thick as Thieves is expected to launch in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
